It is the morning after the night before

I am gutted.

I am not hungover

I did not eat all the chocolate chip cookies Ben made

I hugged my kids this morning. I hugged my Shih Tzu.

You can take me out of the Army, but you can’t take the Army out of me.

I swore an oath for my whole life to protect and defend the Constitution, and I will.

I will be the change I want to see in the world.

And today, we start with hugs.
